I have the following USE flags set: USE="mmx sse aalib acpi alsa apm avi canna cdr cjk doc dvb dvd dvdr emacs encode freewnn gif gstreamer imap imlib lirc mozilla mpeg mule oggvorbis oss pcmcia plotutils png python scanner sdl tiff truetype unicode X wxwindows wmf xv xvid gtk gtk2 gtkhtml mime xmms" So it's actually quite a bit. But I have another thought: I've tried to install the latest GnomePythonExtras, and since it's not in portage, I've tried to satisfy its dependencies manually. I emerged things like libgnome, which in turn installed other things from the latest GNOME, but noticed on the way that parts of my GTK+ based apps weren't working anymore (PyGTK 2.6.x to name one, but also gpdf, which only displays blank pages now). I guess I have to emerge the latest gnome to bring things back to order. I only have a slow internet connection, so I was reluctant to do this. ;-) C. _______________________________________________ pygtk mailing list [email protected] http://www.daa.com.au/mailman/listinfo/pygtk Read the PyGTK FAQ: http://www.async.com.br/faq/pygtk/
