hi,
    i m varun, and liked the work you guys have done to build pygtk.
i m really interested in using pygtk, i would also like to know how pygtk is
implemented.

 I know that in order to generate python bindings, some wrapping of c code is
required. I know about SWIG, but when i looked the source code of pygtk, i
found some codegen scripts written in python. But not able to understand, whats
going on in there.

I can only understand that c wrapper code is generated while compiling pygtk,
using the scripts.

I also read MAPPING file, but couldn,t find description.py and gdk.defs file in
the source code.

So, how can i get started and should we use SWIG or script files to generate
wrapper code. These r some questions in my mind.

kindly reply with your thoughts.
