Sounds excellent, GNOME apps with Python plugins are being ported to
use libpeas which in turn uses introspection. There's people already
working on the port to GNOME 3 for those plugins, but pygobject
doesn't build on Python 3 yet. We have patches but someone needs to
update them, test and report back before they can be merged. Have just
updated the ticket with a plan for moving forward:

I think there are several people interested in helping out, but we may
need some coordination.
