Not really: usually it is good practice to build the executable in a "dist" directory which does not contain your source files, as this keeps things separated. In my opinion, py2exe does a very good job in putting the executable in a different folder by default. In any case, cleaning the "dist" directory in GUI2Exe does exactly this: it deletes the entire "dist" directory. > 2) I ran into trouble trying to build in an icon bitmap.
