Thanks!! This worked on at least 1 computer, where old exec barfed with error like in subject, while new executable works.


thanks, I think I finally figured out whats going wrong. There was a bug where python.exe's dependent assemblies were added to the resulting exe if building a 'windowed' executable. The only thing that is still unclear to me is how that bug could affect 'onedir' builds, as it should only affect 'onefile'. Still, please try the latest revision of py26win and see if it fixes your problem.
