My goal was to create pyinstaller.py as an alternative interface to Configure/Makespec/Build and if possible to get some feedback from users. If the feedback will be positive we could proclaim pyinstaller.py to be default interface. I don't want to do any changes to other files except pyinstaller.py. Until now the wrapper seems working fine and only a small change was required in Makespec.py: http://www.pyinstaller.org/changeset/1007 Invoking Configure.py/Makespec.py and Build.py from pyinstaller.py is working.
