Just to elaborate on Martin's answer, we've *just* merged a large refactoring of the bootloader to implement a new feature in PyInstaller (multi-package support); Mac support is currently broken but should be restored ASAP. Isaac, I would appreciate if you could test PyInstaller 1.5-rc1, which is the stable version available right now. We explicitly tested Python.org's Python on Mac OSX 10.5 and 10.6 and it is supposed to work; but please let us know if it does not work for you, so we get a chance to investigate before releasing 1.5 final.
