I just read this comment over at StackOverflow in a discussion on Python 
apps in the OS X App Store:

I haven't attempted to bundle an app for the App Store yet, but I read that 
packaging must be done via Xtools. Can PyInstaller substitute Xtools for the 
packaging? If not, is this something that might be planned for the future?
