This is expected. For some tests they are needed some additional modules. If these modules are not present then those tests are skipped. Like: test-numpy - you need 'numpy' module. Could you please attach your patches to the following ticket? http://www.pyinstaller.org/ticket/343 If you are happy with your changes could you please try backport your changes for the svn version?
