I/we are interested in understanding if PyInstaller might be used for our purposes, but before I invest too much time in it I would like to understand if it's feasible at all.

We have applications with a lot of external libraries: PyQt, the whole ETS and in plus
maybe 10 or more big eggs for each application.

The eggs are normally not zip-safe and more namespace-packages that real eggs. So the question is, could I succeed in using PyInstaller on such a mess or should I
drop the idea completely?
