In summary of the problem so far, importing OpenCV is broken until the OpenCV hook is added (I haven't checked that in the past ~12 hours). Users also have to be told how they have to modify their multiprocessing code to get it to work with PyInstaller, and the limited testing I've been able to do on Windows XP shows that PyInstaller may be broken for that OS despite making changes to the target source code.
