HI,
I did some test with maintaining a svn repo using git (git svn) or
mercurial (hgsubversion). This would allow committing changes locally
first which I think is quite usefull.
I'v put the snippets for creating some repos and performing some commits
to <https://bitbucket.org/htgoebel/pyi-migrate-svn2hg/src>, all starting
with 02-test-*. So anybody of can have a small test-setup for playing
and looking what action has what results.
Two interesting results:
a) I did not manage to move files with git svn (I get a merge conflig
which I do not know how to resolve)
b) With hg I did not manage to branch (named), merge this to default and
then commit to svn. (git does this)
