Hi Sebastian,
The developer of GUI2EXE is a regular in the wxPython community - I
think I'll drop him a line raising the issue. Providing a GUI is a great
idea in my view (especially if the tooltips contained a little bit more
information about the choices) and I would like to encourage his project.

I would probably use pyinstaller directly. I'm not sure how gui2exe is
kept up-to-date with pyinstaller.
It is not and that caused some trouble. Since I have created a new specfile
things start to work again.
