Hmm, so the cause is somewhere else. Since you hit a regression, we would appreciate a minimal example based on your program for inclusion into the test-suite. This owuld also help us tracking down.

Sorry. As Martin already wrote: These are git-revisions.

Since including "endocdings" did not help, you do not need to test these versions. Otherwise one would simply do

git fetch origin  # assuming you cloned from github/pyinstaller/pyinstaller
git checkout 1a59409f1 # short revision
... do your tests
git checkout b50a7dc8
... do your tests
