Hi Vaclav,
I implemented new import mechanism for pyinstaller that is now based on
PEP302. The resource could work with this new code or it should not be
hard to fix that. Could you please do some testing of my branch with
that new experimental code?

Hi,
sorry that it took me a while to test. I can confirm that it works
flawlessly, very nice job, thaks!! Please let me know when you merge
this into head.
One more thing I noticed: if I freeze package A, and create package
A.B.C, where B is a namespace-package (not packaged with A, since it is
empty), then eggs/A.B.C...egg will not be found. Is that expected? I
think eggs should be able to provide sub-packages to non-egg packages
frozen in the executable itself. It is a not an issue for me now, but it
is something that would work with non-frozen installs.
Cheers, Vaclav
