        could you please try development version of pyinstaller if
        there is
        still this issue?


    I've tried the development version, and the issue is still there.



I've also just tried freezing a simple PySide app, and didn't have this problem, so it appears to be specific to wxPython.

I have had similar problems in the past - usually due to me having created and not deleted a wxDialog or wxWindow - to save time try running your application from the command line as source - i.e. python YourApp.py rather than building the exe - do what you normally do to cause the problem and then exit - if you don't get back to the command prompt without pressing control-C then this is most likely your problem.
