Hi all, After various attempts to get my demo app working, I decided to install a completely clean version of Python, PyQt, Matplotlib, numpy and all the dependencies on my standard c drive. When I did this, I could build and run the demo app. Now, I'm trying to go back and find out what happened to my PortablePython installation to prevent this working. If I discover anything, I'll post it here. The good news is that PyInstaller seems to be working fine with a standard python installation and matplotlib.backends.backend_qt4agg
