I've forked pyinstaller on github and created a branch called waf1.7 (starting from the most recent "develop" commit): https://github.com/dilberry/pyinstaller/tree/waf1.7. I apologise in advance if this breaks a convention of some sort; I'm using Github through Mercurial.
