My bad. I tried v2.1 and got the error. Then I installed the development 
version and it gave the same output (shown). Unfortunately, I have lots of 
dependencies in my work, so it is hard to upgrade from v2.6 and I hoped to 
get it working there. From what I read, it seemed that pyinstaller should 
be fine even on 2.5 (but 2.6 is a little less ancient) ...
