Well, seams as if I understood you wrong. I first understood, you are sending the signal using `rmtool`. But now I understand: You are using `rmtool` only for diagnosing the problem. So for me the question is: Is this a problem related to Python programs bundled with PyInstaller or only for wxProgramms bundled with PyInstaller. Could you please test this with a small program (looping and sleeping)?! If this is a problem for all Python programs bundled with PyInstaller, IMHO we should change the PyInstaller bootloader to handle the signal. -- Schönen Gruß Hartmut Goebel Dipl.-Informatiker (univ), CISSP, CSSLP Information Security Management, Security Governance, Secure Software Development Goebel Consult, Landshut http://www.goebel-consult.de Blog: http://www.goebel-consult.de/blog/eine-millonen-aufkleber-fordern-asyl-fur-snowden Kolumne: http://www.cissp-gefluester.de/2010-06-adobe-und-der-maiszunsler Goebel Consult ist Mitglied bei http://www.7-it.de/
