I am currently trying to reduce the size of a Windows executable
created by PyInstaller. My understanding is that, in --onedir mode,
much of the size of the EXE file comes from the embedded PYZ archive.

Is there any way to track which of the files within the PYZ are
accessed when my program is run? I would like to add those which are
not accessed to the "excludes" in my spec file.
