Have you read this part of the manual? http://pythonhosted.org/PyInstaller/#adding-files-to-the-bundle There is an example. It would be nice if we added more examples, but it is accurate. But I can think of many more questions about your problem. Can you give us more detail on what your app is trying to do? And what this "database file" is?
