Instead of the usual pip install of PyInstaller, I had to download the tar
file, so that I could get access to the hook files and fix a problem with
Tkinter. I fixed the problem successfully, my stand-alone apps are now
building and running just fine.

But now the leftover problem is this: I didn't know where to install
Pyinstaller in the file/directory system on my Macbook. So it apparently
installed to the Downloads folder (as far as I can tell). Where *should* it
be? I haven't been able to find this out anywhere. And once I know that, is
it OK to simply drag & drop it there, or will that break some kind of
associations with its current location in the Download folder?

Thanks for any help!
