ah if you need SVG Canvas, you're screwed, sorry :) you'll need a patched version of xulrunner 1.9.1 and to compile python-xpcom and python-hulahop to use it. or, you use MSHTML under windows. bloody ironic, isn't it - a free software project where the free software engines are shit because nobody cares in the web engine community about any language other that javascript javascript javascript. by contrast, the microsoft MSHTML / Trident bindings - COM - have been working successfully with python for over 10 years... but nobody's bloody noticed! :) *sigh* so yeah this should all change soon, i have a couple of upcoming contracts under negotiation so you _might_ get lucky, and gain the benefit of that work - but the priority and main focus _will_ have to be on what the client wants, not on the (non-paying) free software community. l.
