I have been using the version two commits earlier from head on windows and 
fedora. It seems to work well with a few example apps that I ran, now I'm 
working on my backend and will hook the gui to really verify it. Still 
exploring the desktop on fedora 20 with giwebkit, trying to get the event 
handler working. Saw your post about "except ... as e", will try that out 
and move to the head if possible. 

Though I do not use jsonrpc, instead call into js to make use of jsonp. 
That's not ported to pyjs yet, it worked flawlessly in gwt.
