All right, I think I don't have SIP built against qt2.  I got the latest CVS last 
night (thurs, 9:00 EDST) and ran into another problem.

./configure --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt2
That yielded more problems in the sipqtQString.cpp, something about not finding a 
Unicode function.  I don't have the exact output, but the two arguments for this 
unicode function
were an unsigned short and an int.  Does this sound like a problem with my sip 
install, double versions of qt installed?
