The latest pre-releases are in the usual place at http://www.river-bank.demon.co.uk/software/private. Not much has changed apart from upgrading to libtool 1.3d. I don't know if this will help building on some of the "problem" platforms (ie. Solaris and IRIX). Expect the final v2.4 soon after the final release of Python 2.1.
