The reason we stopped supporting Prototype is we can't recommend it as the obvious best one, and because Javascript libraries change too frequently for us to support one long-term. We can't re-include it just because JQuery doesn't work in one minor browser. It would be better to see why it doesn't work and fix it, or try another library like YUI, ExtJS, ForkJavascript, etc. Also, does what you're doing need a library?
