Pyramid is the new name for Pylons 2. Pylons 1 will have bugfixes and security fixes and some feature backports from Pyramid, but whether it will add features depends on if somebody wants to do the work. The Pylons, BFG, and TurboGears projects have merged under the name "the Pylons project". The codebase comes from BFG with Pylons and TG features added on. > whcih is better ? , what are the differences ? That's a long answer. Pyramid has a more flexible architecture, but it's still in alpha and it's definitely a transition for Pylons users. There is not yet a point-by-point comparison between the two. Look over the pylons-devel and pylons-discuss archive and the main differences will emerge. (Keep in mind that messages in early November were from when Pyramid was brand new, so some of the things said about it are either out of date or inaccurate.) -- Mike Orr <sluggos...@gmail.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pylons-devel" group.
