I worked on them with Photoshop simulating Windows screen gamma so they look [even] lighter than I intended on a Mac... I was trying to keep them subtle and "classy", but maybe a bit too much. Basically I didn't want them to be so glaring and loud nobody could use them on anything but a personal site. I also don't know of any standard size for such a thing, so I used the dimensions of those "Valid XXXX" graphics from W3 (XHTML, CSS, etc.). Which is 88 x 31.
