Hello everybody,

I started to work on new project few weeks ago. I have some experience
with Python and I love that language thus I'd really like to use it for
that project. It is a Web-based project and so far I read a lot on Web
application development using Python. The problem is that I feel like I
have to learn something like J2EE once again until I make any progress
which makes it no-fun.

I have "played" with webpy, TurboGears, CherryPy but none of them made
me comfortable enough to stop looking for something else. Just a couple
days ago I found out about Pylons. On first glance it seems like it's
what I was looking for all those days and nights. But since then it
still doesn't ring any bells. I really need some "initiation" on
Pylons, what was the idea behind it, how do I use it effectively. Well,
all examples work fine but I still don't see where are "extension
points", which way to go if I need more than a primitive blog.

I hate to go for PHP, which could make quick-n-dirty results pretty
fast but would take far too much time in the future and that project is
rather small for Java.
