I liked the quickwiki tutorial, especially starting at the end. Pulling down the finished app, seeing that it works, then building it from scratch was very instructional, especially knowing that if something did not work it had (*shock*) to be my fault.
Since I have to work with Oracle using sqlalchemy was a big reason I came to pylons. I was a little bothered by the docutils third party package though. I thought a tutorial should not have external dependencies.
