This is one of those tims that Trac is really valuable, and Ben
for making the I18N & Unicode component in Trac and moving all
of the related tickets into it.

Ben, this is why I like using keywords in trac, because several
of these bugs are appropriately set to helpers or components
but are definitely part of what's making the changelog for
0.9.5.

Also, there are a lot more fixes in 0.9.5; you can pull them
all out of trac for now but close to release it will be
collected and documentized (if no one else wants to do that, I
will).
