I'd wait a bit, its still early adopter at this point, and we're working on 
some additional tools that will bring the ease of use with some options that 
exist in Pylons.

The good news is that the vast majority of the code you write in a Pylons 
webapp is in templates, or database models, and you can bring those with you 
easily if you want to switch to Pyramid later.

Also, the majority of the Pyramid introduction/tutorial/guide type docs aren't 
quite polished yet.
