I just uploaded a source distrib for 1.9rc1-4 which caught up with the latest
in Lucene's svn and integrates the new regex query stuff. If you use that
version you no longer need the patch I sent you earlier.
All tests pass for me on Mac OS X using gcj 3.4.4.
What version of gcc/gcj are you using ?
