These issues only apply to threaded use, right? I'm running gentoo's gcc
4.1.1 as my system compiler, and I've had no trouble with PyLucene yet. I
haven't done anything fancy yet under Linux though, so is running the gentoo
4.1.1 compiler going to bite me once I start using threads?
Quite possibly. Does 'make test' succeed ?
