I don't know that PyLucene has ever been built on Solaris but the JCC version
(which this link points at) should be no problem.

You're going to need to add entries into the INCLUDE and LFLAGS dicts in
JCC's setup.py for Solaris. Once you've got them right, please send them to
this list so that I can add them as examples. The key for these entries is
the value of sys.platform.
