I am pleased to announce the release of PyLucene 2.3.0 following the recent
of release of Java Lucene 2.3.0.
This release is built with JCC only. GCJ-PyLucene is now deprecated.
For the complete list of changes see [1][2].
JCC, which is included in the PyLucene source tarball but is not specific to
Lucene, was upgraded to version 1.7 and is available from the Python
cheeseshop [3].
