[Pymedia-users] getODevices crashes python when there's no sound card

Hi.

I'm using pymedia 1.3.5 in a program (tried compiling cvs, but couldn't compile with cygwin). When the program gets run on a test machine that has no sound card, I get a message box saying that python "has encountered an error and needs to close". I tried running it once through a debugger and it was an access violation, if I recall correctly.

Any ideas?

I would love to test the 1.3.7 version, but I can't compile it.
