You can't raytrace it the background using threads, but if you have everything in a script, you can launch a separate process to do the work:
"pymol -c script.pml" or "pymol -c script.py" will run PyMOL without a Window. You do need to like against the X11 and OpenGL libs though... Cheers, Warren -- mailto:war...@sunesis.com Warren L.
