I think suggesting to people to answer on-list rather than privately would be the better approach. If I get a reply from a list sent to me privately, I assume that the person who sends me this mail does not want his opinion to be public. In fact, I know a lot of lists were forwarding private mails is considered to be rude. That's all just my personal opinion though, of course. Michael
