Hello All, I was switching in and out some hardware and was trying to understand exactly what does what when it comes to pyMol. Assumng all is equal, what role the processor, memory and video card play in on-screen manipulations and rendering.
Maybe a better way to ask this question is: if you upgraded each piece of hardware individually what features would be improved in pyMol? Specifically for the video card, what features that are utilized by pyMol? 3D capabilities? on-board RAM? I dunno. Thanks, Pete D. UCLA Chemistry
