All of these "ultra fast 8µs" LCD screens I have seen do not support
horizontal scan frequencies above 75 or 80Hz. No idea why...

Currently I use a dual head setup with a CRT and a LCD monitor
connected to a FX1400 card. This way I have the best of both worlds
simultaneosly.

And what about the ever faster LCD screens designed for gamers? With 
refresh times appraching 8 microseconds, hardware stereo with 2x 60 Hz

on LCD screens seems to come into reach.
