Hi Feng, Start out with reading the manual, in particular the section regarding selections. Then be sure to no the atom names you want to select and use
select (name atomname1,atomname2,...) To be sure not to grab any other molecules, you may want to make it read select (name atomname1,atomname2,...) and resi LigandResidueNumber or select (name atomname1,atomname2,...) and resn LigandResidueName Hope it helps, Tsjerk On 10/12/06, GAO FENG <[email protected]> wrote:
Hi there, Does any one know how to select a particular atom from a ligand using command (I know a lot of you there know)? Could you tell me how to do it, I am a beginner of PyMol, I am learning and like it alot. Thank you. Feng ________________________________ All-new Yahoo!
