Hi Thomas, Thank you for your answer, as you have suggested I had some problems with permissions but now I have resolved and plugins work fine.

Which version of PyMOL do you use? Since 1.5.0.5 plugins can be installed in the user's home folder. Older versions of PyMOL only did system level installation of plugins, which required admin write permissions.
