Hi guys, nothing really bad, but it makes me think if we are consistent about certain things?
I wanted to run py.test on folders which are not in the pypy path hierarchy. After a while, Richard came up with the idea to just copy conftest.py to the path where you are. And in fact, it works so far that if you do /pypy/dist/pypy/test_all.py --help you can see that the extra help options appear. But when I then run my test actually with the --view option, this option is simply ignored. No error message, the test runs, but no PyGame window. I checked amd moved the same file into the pypy tree and used exactly the same cmd line and it works. No big deal after all, but the fact that I can activate part of pypy support with the conftest trick, but not the PyGame stuff, makes me a bit concerned if we might be using a mixture of import strategies at certain places? Not too easy to find, I guess there is some except:pass thing hiding the problem. ciao - chris -- Christian Tismer :^) <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> tismerysoft GmbH : Have a break!
