Thanks for your input. It's true that we are still missing some built-in modules to make PyPy more usable. (The core is absolutely complete, though, with the single exception of weakrefs.) I don't agree, though, about considering more back-ends a waste of code. As long as we can't produce a version of PyPy that runs somewhere else than in a C/Posix or C/Win32 environment, the general view of PyPy might be "well, cool, but so what?"
