Hi Armin, all, don't know if you noticed: i think that your readline/curses hack is good enough that my good old completion module mostly works out of the box on pypy-c. (http://codespeak.net/rlcompleter2/). It produces slightly different output and there probably also are some corner cases that pypy doesn't cover yet.
