(this talk by Linus Torvalds on git lasts a little over an hour,
so don't start watching until you have the time ;-)

 From what Linus says, git would seem better suited to experimental
sprint branches and individual offshoots than svn, while still being
able to deal well with something the size of the Linux kernel, with its
concurrent stable version updates and new betas and release candidates etc.

Have you considered adopting git, migrating stagewise or whole hog?
Anyone using it now?
