I think you are seeing the world through the pin's hole of what would
be needed for Cython's C files to compile nicely with PyPy.  While I
don't completely disagree with you, I do believe that there are other
worthwhile options, as Fijal and Amaury just said --- and I also
believe that there is incredibly more to PyPy than just that issue.
